One-step mouse genotyping DNA extraction kit -- No spin, No purification!

Using the fast genotyping kit, all you need to do is to heat the samples for 1 hour. That's it! 

In the genotyping protocol, DNA was extracted from mouse tails or toes using the kit with 1-hour heating at 94 degrees, then 1ul of the each heated sample was used directly for genotyping PCR without spin or purification. Negative controls (lane 9-11) received no mouse DNA.

Why agarose-saving feature is so important for genotyping and PCR applications?

In agarose electrophoresis, the gel concentration is determined by the size range of the DNA (or RNA) fragments being tested, with much higher percentage gels being used to resolve small sizes (100-200bp, for example). For  reliability, most PCR primers were designed to generate PCR products in the small size range, which means that your agarose gel should be made to 3% or higher.
